I don't ship anything I wouldn't act on myself. It is the only test I have found that catches the readings which are technically correct and practically useless.

If the structure says hold, I say hold — to people who are paying me in the hope that I will say go. That is the entire value of paying someone with no stake in your decision.

I decline work when the fit is wrong, and I say why. An engagement that should not have started is worse for both of us than an awkward reply.

Everything shared with me stays with me. No client, no situation, and no detail is reused, published, or discussed — including in my writing, which is drawn from principle rather than from people.
